The Packing List goes by many names, and can also be referred to as the bill of parcel, unpacking note, packaging slip, delivery docket, delivery list, manifest or customer receipt.
This document outlines the contents as well as the dimensions and weight of each package or container. The Packing List serves to inform the various levels involved with shipping, which can include transport agencies, government authorities, and customers, about the contents of the shipment. The document is vital for ensuring the smooth delivery of any shipment.
